The need for this discussion became apparent from countless conversations and exhaustive work with this “next generation” of wealthy, entrepreneurs, artists, and others as they struggled to develop their own programs of giving to the arts—it was clear that what we in the arts are offering are not nearly as compelling as where the media often turns their attention.

This podcast attempts to understand these shifts in focus through a series of conversations where we delve into the motivations and dedications (as well as criteria and requirements) of the Next Generation with each episode exploring personal journeys that redefined (for them and their peers) what it means to support the arts.

It is imperative and urgent that we listen—because when we listen, we're able to formulate a relevant blueprint of how to maintain the arts as a dynamic source of inspiration for all of us.
